Whale Shower Pump Switch Connect Wet floor Kit BP1578

The Whale automatic shower drain kit with proven reliability is now combined with 12 pump speed settings & Active Link diagnostics.

Whale Automatic Shower Pump Tray Kit BP1558B comes with a transformer and flow switch, which will start pumping away the waste shower water automatically when the shower is turned on. 

Shower Waste Water Drainage Solution - for when gravity drainage is not an option. 

Supplied with a waste outlet trap suitable for use with a wet room floor former for vinyl sheet flooring. The waste outlet has a 22mm outlet pipe and comes with a 15mm reducer. It is suggested that for electric showers 15mm pipe is used to connect the waste outlet to the pump inlet. For mixer showers use 22mm pipe from the waste to the pump inlet.

How the Whale Switch Connect Wet floor Shower Pump BP1578 works

• When the shower is turned on the flow of water is detected by the flow-switch sensor which in turn activates the Whale Shower Pump.
• The pump then removes the water from the shower waste and pumps it away.
• When the shower is turned off the flow switch sensor detects the stop in the flow of water and signals the pump to start shut down.
• The pump will continue for a short time in 'overrun phase' to ensure any water that drains to the shower waste outlet after the shower has ended is removed.
